Job Description | Electronic Assembly Technician
Position Summary:
The electronic assembly technician plays an essential role in assembling and repairing electronic components. This position requires precision attention to detail and a strong understanding of soldering techniques to ensure high-quality results. The technician will work closely with engineers and other team members to meet production standards and deadlines.
Responsibilities:
- Perform soldering tasks on electronic components and circuit boards
- Inspect and test solder joints to ensure quality and reliability
- Repair and rework defective components and boards
- Follow detailed assembly instructions processes and procedures
- Maintain and calibrate soldering equipment
- Collaborate with engineers to resolve technical issues
- Document processes and product data accurately
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Certification in soldering or electronics preferred
- Minimum of 2 years of soldering experience in a manufacturing environment
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications
- Strong attention to detail and excellent hand-eye coordination

- Ability to sit or stand for long periods perform detailed repetitive work and lift up to 25 lbs.
Knowledge:
- Familiarity with component identification and ESD procedures
