Schedule: Mon-Thurs 8am-5pm (4/10 Work Schedule)

Duration: Temporary to permanent

Pay: $12-$15/DOE

Job Description:

Our client is a well-known small manufacturing company here in Albuquerque who is seeking an experienced Punch Press Operator and Set-up.

No prior machine shop experience is needed—we're looking for someone who is teachable mechanically inclined and enjoys hands-on work. If you take pride in attention to detail and like working in a fast-paced team-oriented machine shop environment we’ll provide the training you need to succeed.

•Someone who has worked on a press or screening machine before.

•Manufacturing equipment experience would be good also.

•Making small parts out of exotic metals

Requirements of This Position:

•Lifting 50 lbs.

•Mechanical Aptitude

•General safety and good housekeeping

•Good attention to detail

•General use of hand tools

•Excellent manual dexterity

•Must be precise in work show strict attention to detail

•Must have the ability to perform same work tasks for extended period of time

•Minimal computer skills

•Measuring ability with calipers micrometers in .001" and mm

Experience/knowledge preferred but not required for the following:

•Forklift

•Blue print reading

•Statistical Process Control (SPC)
