Job Title: Production Planner Asst. / Material Planning

Full Time temp to hire

Location: Los Lunas NM

Shift: Monday – Friday 8am-5pm

Pay: $20

 

POSITION SUMMARY

The Customer Service Representative will assist the Production Scheduler/Planner with a wide variety of duties including material planning inventory control purchasing managing customer requests for quote and order fulfillment including pertinent status updates and proactive communications necessary to meet the customer’s use or production needs. The CSR will respond to all internal and external customers by using excellent in depth knowledge of company products and programs as well as communicating effectively with team members.

 

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

• High School diploma or equivalent and two years of previous customer service experience required.

• One to two years experience in a manufacturing industry.

 

KNOWLEDGE SKILLS & ABILITIES

• Knowledge and understanding of the importance of strong written documentation and maintenance of records and files;

• Ability to identify complex problems and review related information to develop and evaluate options and implement solutions;

• Ability to determine on how a system should work and how changes in conditions operations and the environment will affect outcomes;

• Ability to prioritize activities and negotiate due dates;

SUMMARY OF DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Prepare and complete job orders for Production Scheduler/Planner Manager to schedule manufacturing work flow;

• Prepare shipments and billing paperwork upon completion of order;

• Utilize established software program to verify or create customer account maintain documentation of past orders quotes and pricing with high degree of accuracy;

• Processes invoices and receipts for commissions and accounts payable/receivable accurately and in a timely manner;

• Audit revise and process changes accordingly;

• Confer with customers via telephone or in person to provide information about products or services;

• Take and enter orders cancel accounts and obtain details of complaints;

• Ensure that appropriate changes are made to resolve customer problems;

• Maintain records of customer interactions or transactions recording details of inquiries complaints or comments as well as actions taken;

• Resolve customer service or billing complaints;

• Complete contract documentation prepare change of address records or issue service discontinuance orders;

• Other duties as assigned
